GreyNoise expands CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and Charlotte Agentic SOAR integration with edge threat intelligence content

1 fonte(s) · 1 atualização(ões) · publicado 30/08/2026 21:00 · coletado há 1 dia

GreyNoise announced an expanded integration with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, adding content for Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and Charlotte Agentic SOAR. It is delivered through the GreyNoise Foundry App in the CrowdStrike Marketplace. The package brings GreyNoise's internet-wide scanning and exploitation observations into SOC detection and automated response workflows, aimed at organizations with large perimeter footprints whose edge devices lack telemetry. This is product news and describes no specific incident, vulnerability or threat actor.

Technical Details

  • Dashboard: visualizes successful inbound sessions from GreyNoise-classified malicious IPs, correlated against firewall and WAF allow events. Sessions are prioritized by source IP volume and show the GreyNoise tags and classifications behind each source.
  • Correlation rule 1: flags allowed inbound connections from IPs GreyNoise classifies as malicious or suspicious, exposing perimeter policy gaps.
  • Correlation rule 2: flags allowed outbound connections from internal hosts to GreyNoise-classified malicious destinations, an indicator of C2 beaconing, exfiltration or botnet participation.
  • Playbook 1 (CVE exploitation workflow): ingests GreyNoise CVE exploitation events. It creates cases and vulnerability management tickets and updates blocklists for exploiting IPs, giving early warning that can precede vendor disclosures and KEV publications.
  • Playbook 2 (compromised device workflow): triggers when GreyNoise sees the organization's own IP ranges scanning, or when internal hosts contact known callback infrastructure. It creates a case and a containment ticket, aimed at embedded edge devices that cannot run EDR agents.
  • Playbook 3 (alert severity recategorization): enriches alerts with GreyNoise classification and tags and automatically adjusts case severity.

Remediation

No remediation applies. Customers can install the GreyNoise Foundry App from the CrowdStrike Marketplace to deploy the dashboard, rules and playbooks.
