Salt Security launches Autonomous Defense for its Agentic Security Platform

1 fonte(s) · 1 atualização(ões) · publicado 29/10/2026 10:55 · coletado há 3 dias

Salt Security announced Autonomous Defense, an expansion of its Salt Workflows capabilities within the Agentic Security Platform, aimed at automating threat containment, enforcement and remediation. The feature lets security teams block malicious activity, revoke risky access and push configuration changes through enforcement tools they already operate. It builds on Salt's Agentic Security Graph, which correlates AI agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, tools and downstream APIs with source code, configuration, exposure and runtime context. This is a product announcement with no associated incident, vulnerability or threat activity.

Detalhes técnicos

Supported actions include disabling unauthorised MCP connections, quarantining shadow tools, removing excessive privileges, pushing blocking rules to WAFs and API gateways, updating AI guardrail policies, and remediating exposed APIs or missing rate limits. Customers define which findings trigger automatic action versus approval-gated change, and select enforcement points, retaining an audit trail. The platform includes a drag-and-drop workflow builder with more than 200 out-of-the-box connectors plus a marketplace of Salt-built integrations, alongside ticketing, notification and SIEM enrichment. Salt Workflows is available now, with existing workflows being migrated.
