1 fonte(s) · 1 atualização(ões) · publicado 21/10/2026 11:03 · coletado há 1 dia

Infillion, an advertising company, acquired location-data platform Foursquare last month at an undisclosed value. In a blog post, co-founder and former CEO Dennis Crowley said that neither preferred nor common stockholders appear to have received any value from the deal, and that he was heartbroken by the outcome. He blamed the result on the 2021 management transition, which followed a 2019 private equity raise, saying leadership failed to preserve or create new value. Foursquare had raised over $411 million according to PitchBook data and shut down its consumer app in 2024. The article is business news and contains no security incident, vulnerability or threat activity.
