1 fonte(s) · 1 atualização(ões) · publicado 22/06/2026 14:03 · coletado há 4 dias

TrendAI™ (Trend Micro's enterprise business unit) announced on June 22, 2026 that it joined the OpenAI Daybreak Cyber Partner Program, as one of the first cybersecurity vendors selected when OpenAI expands Daybreak from internal testing to a curated group of trusted defenders. TrendAI managed security teams are already using agentic triage capabilities, powered by OpenAI frontier models, integrated into TrendAI Vision One™. The company says the partnership will also speed up vulnerability discovery, prioritization and disclosure, feeding virtual patching and pre-disclosure protections. Insights from Daybreak will feed TrendAI's threat intelligence programs and the Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) bug bounty program. This is vendor business and product news with no described incident, vulnerability or threat activity.

Detalhes técnicos

  • Security operations triage agents surface AI-assisted insights inside SIEM platforms, XDR consoles and threat intelligence portals.
  • OpenAI's cyber capabilities are embedded in Vision One as part of a managed service workflow; customers do not interact with the model directly.
  • Vulnerability intelligence is claimed to feed virtual patching and pre-disclosure protection, often before a CVE is published or a vendor patch is available.
  • Claims about reduced mean time to triage come from the vendor and are not independently verified in the article.
