Brava Security exits stealth with $15 million seed round for AI-driven detection validation platform

1 fonte(s) · 1 atualização(ões) · publicado 08/11/2026 09:14 · coletado há 1 hora

Israeli security operations startup Brava Security has emerged from stealth with a $15 million seed round led by F2 Venture Capital and Pitango VC, with participation from angel investors. Founded in 2024 in Tel Aviv by Israeli intelligence alumni Idan Basre (CEO) and Itay Gabbay (CTO), the company markets an AI-powered platform that models attacker behavior and simulates attacks to analyze the resulting telemetry and expose detection gaps. Using business context, the platform shows how an attack would manifest in a customer environment, highlights what defenses would miss, and rewrites SIEM detections for analysts to investigate further. Brava claims initial insights within 10-15 minutes of onboarding, integration with more than 70 sources and destinations, and no changes to existing security infrastructure. The funding will go to product development and market expansion, with R&D in Israel and a commercial team in the US. This is business and funding news with no vulnerability, threat actor or indicator involved, and therefore no direct defensive action.
