1 fonte(s) · 1 atualização(ões) · publicado 13/10/2026 01:00 · coletado há 4 dias

TrustedSec announced that it is joining the OpenAI Daybreak Defense Network. It plans to use OpenAI models in its consulting work through Daybreak Blue and, where approved, specialized cyber models through Daybreak Red. The planned uses cover red teaming, penetration testing, application and cloud security, purple teaming, research, threat hunting, investigations and incident response. The company says consultants will direct the work, validate findings and own recommendations, with use scoped through customer authorization. This is a business and product announcement with no vulnerability, incident or threat activity described.

Detalhes técnicos

  • Daybreak Blue supports defensive analysis and security assessments. Daybreak Red supports deeper authorized research and adversarial testing where approved.
  • Planned uses include chaining weaknesses into attack paths during red team engagements, and reviewing code, configurations, permissions and trust relationships in application and cloud assessments.
  • In purple teaming, the models would analyze exercise telemetry, find detection gaps and help develop detections that consultants and clients validate together.
  • In threat hunting and incident response, the models would help organize evidence, connect related activity and surface leads that consultants then check.

Remediação

No remediation applies. TrustedSec says it will define authorization, scope, data handling and human review for each engagement. It also says it will evaluate these workflows before expanding their use across its services.
