Citrix Adds AI Agent Governance and Autonomous Browsing Detection to SecurSpaces and SecurAccess

1 fonte(s) · 1 atualização(ões) · publicado 04/11/2026 11:13 · coletado há 1 hora

Citrix announced product updates to Citrix SecurSpaces, Citrix SecurAccess and Citrix Platform Flex aimed at helping enterprises govern autonomous AI agents and AI-powered work. The announcement is a vendor product roadmap, not a security incident or vulnerability disclosure: it introduces governance, visibility and access-control features for AI agent deployments, along with a new consumption-based licensing model called Citrix Platform Credits. Key additions include expanding SecurSpaces to support AI agent execution for knowledge workers and AI engineers (with isolated execution environments and credential protection), and new SecurAccess capabilities to detect autonomous browsing activity, enforce agentic access governance via Model Context Protocol, and extend Session Insights with AI-specific risk highlighting. Citrix also plans to open-source a Knowledge Worker Agent for SecurSpaces under the Apache 2.0 license.

Detalhes técnicos

  • SecurSpaces: provides isolated execution environments for AI agents (including managed agents from Anthropic and OpenAI) with restricted resource access and credential protection outside the execution environment, plus centralized provisioning, policy and visibility controls.
  • SecurAccess: new autonomous browsing activity detection (via Chrome Enterprise) to distinguish automation from human activity, with response options including monitoring, notification, session recording or blocking; SecurAccess ZTNA becomes a policy control point limiting AI agents via Model Context Protocol to only the tools/actions needed for a task; Session Insights adds AI governance features to flag risky session moments and maintain audit trails.
  • Platform Credits: a consumption-based licensing model allowing a shared credit pool across Citrix's portfolio (virtual desktops, secure access, agentic workspaces, browser-based work, AI use cases, endpoint delivery), building on the May-launched Citrix Platform Flex.
