Bitdefender releases GravityZone Exposure Management add-on for vulnerability prioritization and attack path mapping
Bitdefender announced the general availability of GravityZone Exposure Management, an add-on to its GravityZone platform aimed at consolidating internal and external attack surface risk into a single view. The product performs vulnerability and misconfiguration discovery, External Attack Surface Management for internet-facing assets, attack path mapping to critical assets and identities, and dynamic hardening of living-off-the-land tools such as PowerShell and WMIC. Bitdefender cites a survey of 1,200 practitioners where hardening overhead (38%), fear of operational disruption (35.4%) and resource constraints (34.6%) were the top barriers to attack surface reduction.
