RMC wins US Army ICED-603 Phase 2 OTA to prototype Zero Trust OT security for installation control systems

1 fonte(s) · 1 atualização(ões) · publicado 02/11/2026 05:52 · coletado há 1 hora

RMC, an ABS Group affiliate, was awarded an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) by the U.S. Army for the Industrial Control Enterprise Defense (ICED-603) Phase 2 Prototype. The award came through Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Huachuca Division, on behalf of Army Materiel Command. RMC is the prime contractor, with Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) as subcontractor. The roughly four-month prototype will demonstrate a vendor-agnostic, Zero Trust-aligned approach to securing OT, including facility-related control systems (FRCS) such as building automation and utilities. This is a business and contract announcement with no incident or vulnerability described.

Detalhes técnicos

  • Approach combines mission-informed assessment and remediation, secure network segmentation, maintenance access, security monitoring and an OT data integration layer.
  • The team will develop reusable remediation patterns for other Army installations, plus Risk Management Framework (RMF) evidence, training and transition support.
  • The goal is to reduce cyber risk while maintaining operational continuity and avoiding replacement of existing control infrastructure.
  • On successful completion, the Government can pursue a follow-on production OTA.
