Crytica Security and Carahsoft Partner to Expand Device-Level OT Threat Detection in US Public Sector

1 fonte(s) · 1 atualização(ões) · publicado 04/11/2026 06:00 · coletado há 2 horas

Crytica Security and Carahsoft Technology Corp. announced a distribution partnership making Crytica's Rapid Detection, Alert and isolation (RDAi) solution available to U.S. Federal agencies and State, Local and Education (SLED) organizations via Carahsoft's reseller network and the SEWP V and NASPO ValuePoint government contracts. RDAi adds device-level OT threat detection by embedding a small (70KB) Probe inside OT devices to deterministically detect unauthorized instruction-set changes within seconds, complementing existing network-based monitoring, SOC, SIEM and XDR investments rather than replacing them. The announcement frames Public Sector OT (military, water, power, transit, education) as a sustained target of nation-state actors seeking persistent access to critical infrastructure. This follows an earlier integration announced in August between RDAi and Forescout Technologies' Vistaro platform.

Detalhes técnicos

RDAi's Probe is designed for resource-constrained legacy OT/IoT devices and uses deterministic detection (not signatures or behavioral analysis) to flag unauthorized instruction-set modifications, feeding alerts into existing security platforms to speed isolation and response decisions.
