Mave, an Israeli agentic SecOps startup founded by Unit 8200 alumni, raises $34M including a $28M Series A
Tel Aviv-based Mave, founded in 2025 by Unit 8200 alumni Guy Eshel (CTO) and Raziel Oren (CEO), announced $34 million in total funding on October 22, 2026. The total combines a $6 million seed round and a new $28 million Series A led by Red Dot Capital Partners. Lumir Growth Partners, Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures also participated; the latter two led the seed round. The company will use the funds for frontier AI research, enterprise product lines and global expansion, and will grow from about 30 staff with go-to-market and AI research hires. This is business news with no direct threat to defenders.
Detalhes técnicos
- Mave's platform uses AI agents to automate SecOps through a single agentic defense system. It pulls live context from the existing security stack and combines fine-tuned SLMs with frontier LLMs to produce context-based reasoning for security teams in near real time.
- The company positions the product against AI-accelerated attack kill chains, which it says traditional SIEM defenses cannot keep up with.
- Mave does not currently promise end-to-end automation. It describes a governed model with least-privileged integrations, approval gates where needed and a full audit trail of every action and decision.
